Preferred Builders LLC is a family-owned general contracting company based in Mukilteo, Washington, proudly serving Seattle and the surrounding communities. We specialize in custom home construction, large-scale remodels, decks, patios, fences, and reliable property maintenance services for homeowners and property management partners.

Having decided that that we would remodel our rambler and created an aging-in-place residence where we could remain, my wife and I embarked on a full house remodel plus addition that would incorporate our visions of design and functionality. To this end we engaged Preferred Builders. I will begin this review by saying that we were VERY satisfied with Issac Meyer, his crew, and the collection of subcontractors that rotated through during the course of the job. I cannot offer up a higher recommendation than to say that we would certainly bring him back on board if ever we had another project of this size to do again.
Issac has the knowledge and skills to oversee a job such as ours (which included gutting the original house and putting it all back together again with all new systems, as well as incorporating a new addition into the process) from beginning to end. Equally important, though, is that underlying all of this expertise is a very much appreciated honesty and accountability. Issac did an excellent job of communicating, of showing up when he said he would show up, of fixing without complaint any problems that arose along the way (and in construction there are always some problems!), and managing all of the moving parts and pieces that make up the construction process.
Our project was completed in the projected time frame, and all of the bid items were completed without cost overruns.
